Jyotish is not simply a system for predicting the future. At its heart, it is a tool for liberation: a means of seeing yourself clearly, understanding the karmic patterns and cycles that shape your life, and moving forward with greater awareness and agency.

This course is an invitation to begin that study properly, with rigour, depth and personal guidance.

What you will study

Working through 14 extensive lessons, you will learn to read and interpret a Vedic birth chart from the ground up, using your own chart as your primary text. Topics covered include:

– The Vedic worldview and why Indian astrology

– The sidereal zodiac and the Ayanamsha

– Planets, signs and houses in Jyotish

– Planetary dignity, friendship and house lordship

– Aspects, yogas and benefic/malefic distinctions

– Timing techniques: dashas

– An introduction to key Varga charts

– Ayurveda and its relationship to the birth chart

– Remedial measures: mantras, gemstones and ritual

– Chart analysis: synthesising everything into a coherent reading

By the end of the course, you will be able to undertake a complete, systematic analysis of a Vedic birth chart, your own and those of others.
